Live Action Role Play

Covers groups ranging from Amptguard(foam weapons and padded 'spell balls') to the Society of Creative Anachronisms(SCA, fights with blunted but still potentially lethal weapons requiring expensive materials just to get started), to Vampire Live action Roleplay(Rock-scisors-paper based combat/contest system) and others.

If you dress up and act it out, it's a LARP (not counting instances where you are the only one who is dressed up going to your normal D&D group)
