The Denver Gamers Association is hosting Genghis Con XXIX in mid February. Our group was approached to see if we wanted to run a game or three and I volunteered to run a classic Car Wars set of elimination rounds in an arena (Midville for now; Division 20 but we'll see). I don't know if it's been accepted but I thought I'd post a note so folks are aware (and to plug my game :) ).

I just have to say that that is an awesome name for a convention. :D It makes me smile every time I see it.
Hate to be a bump and not contribute much to the conversation... but awesome name. Whomever came up with it should be given an award, or broadsword of +10 sexiness.... or something.
Well since it's the 29th convention, I suspect it's been in use for at least 29 years :) There seem to be mostly board games with a whole room dedicated to Puffing Billy when I went to Tacticon back in September (they run two cons a year).
